Vintage Cartier Animal Deer Brooch 14kt yellow gold Natural Ruby

Vintage signed Cartier animal deer brooch in 14kt yellow gold with a natural ruby. This lovely brooch features a natural round ruby in the deers eye with hand engraved texture to mimic deer hair. Figuring this brooch to be made in 1960s-70s.

This brooch features a .02 carat natural ruby. The brooch is 1 inch in length and around .5 inches in height. The textures and details are present due to this piece being barley worn. Some tarnish spots are seen on it but can be cleaned off easily. The pin clip is fully working with no damage. The piece weights 7 grams total and sits well when pinned on. The piece is hand engraved “Cartier” and is also stamped with a serial number 17518. In the center of the back of the brooch is also marked DET 14kt.
