Victorian Antique Snake Diamond Necklace 18kt Yellow Gold

Antique natural diamond and gemstone snake animal necklace. This necklace is from the Victorian era and is made of 18kt yellow gold. There is roughly .65 carats of natural diamonds and .02 carats of natural ruby to mimic the snakes eyes. The diamonds are single cut and one stone is an older transitional cut the quality is majority Si. The snake pendant is connected to the original chain and is a cable design. The necklace is 16 inches long but can be extended with newer links.

This is a very unique piece and has hallmarks on the clasp as well as the snake pendant itself. All hallmarks are in great shape and readable which adds a uniqueness to this piece. Overall condition is great!
